What: Recital that explores the the “singing” and “color” potentials of the piano. Program includes 2 of my original works:
Periods of Luminance—a set of 7 mystical preludes for piano inspired by the sublime, eerie bioluminescence we sometimes experience at night on our beaches.
Small Rain—three tonal preludes inspired by Chopin’s Raindrop Prelude that explore gentle resonances in the piano

PLUS lyrical works I adore from four master composers of the Romantic Era:
Schubert—Impromptus #3 and #4, op.90
Brahms—Intermezzo in B flat minor, op. 117#2, Capriccio in G minor, op. 116#3
