Russell Steinberg presents BLUE POOL, a classical guitar concert at Beyond Baroque on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 8 p.m.  The concert features original slack key-inspired guitar preludes accompanied by slideshows of locations in Maui. 
The pieces are from Steinberg’s new Blue Pool CD that Hawaiian slack key master George Kahumoku Jr. calls a “magical classical twist in Slack key guitar tunings.” The program also includes guitar works by Tárrega, Turina, and Villa-Lobos.
